‘Slow Pulse Boys’ is the story of the band And Also The Trees, formed at the end of the 70’s, in Worcesterhire, by the Jones brothers, Simon & Justin, and the Havas brothers, Nick & Graham. 45 years  after their first gig in january 1980, the Trees are greener than ever. This film tries to understand the career of one of the most underrated bands  in the UK from their teenage years, the early support of the Cure’s Robert Smith & Lol Tolhurst, their hopes and doubts, and their longevity throughout almost 5 decades, while they continue to produce beautiful albums and to tour all over Europe.

A story told by Simon Huw Jones, Justin Jones, Nick Havas, Steven Burrows, Paul Hill, Emer Brizzolora, Ian Jenkins, Grant Gordon & Colin Ozanne and close band crew members. Featuring interviews with: Lol Tolhurst (co-founder of The Cure), John Robb & Push (UK music journalists), Christophe Labussière & Christophe Basterra (French music journalists), William Faith (musician & producer), and many more…
